Looks like there are still teams on the edge of making it into the post season. The Bills, Chargers, Raiders, and Dolphins are vying to get in for the AFC. The Lions, Seahawks, and Cowboys have a similar situation going on the NFC side. This is going to be an interesting week. No Thursday night game, two Saturday games, regular Sunday games, no Sunday night game, and two Monday night games. CRAZY!
DETROIT LIONS VS CINCINNATI BENGALS:
The Lions need this win to stay alive. The Bengals are not playing for anything. They are not even playing for a coach that announced that he will call it quits at the end of the season.
MIAMI DOLPHINS VS KANSAS CITY CHIEFS:
Miami can stay relevant if they win. Will they win though? Kansas City is starting to look like the team they were at the beginning of the season.
Kansas City Chiefs
BUFFALO BILLS VS NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS:
Buffalo can stay afloat with a win. New England can achieve home field if they win out. The Bills will not have enough to knock out the Pats. With so much on the line for both teams, this should be a close game.
New England Patriots
CLEVELAND BROWNS VS CHICAGO BEARS:
TAMPA BAY BUCCANEERS VS CAROLINA PANTHERS:
The Panthers are going to have to keep pushing to keep their spot. They should be able to keep the Bucs at bay. (See what I did there) The Bucs have been known to have a great game here and there. This will not be if the Carolina defense does their job.
ATLANTA FALCONS VS NEW ORLEANS SAINTS:
One of the best games of the day here. Both are aiming along with Carolina to lead the conference. The Falcons have been suspect to say the least. It will be a good game, but only one can win.
New Orleans Saints
DENVER BRONCOS VS WASHINGTON REDSKINS:
Nothing too exciting here since neither team is playing for anything. The Redskins will rely heavily on their defense to get them through.
LOS ANGELES RAMS VS TENNESSEE TITANS:
The win for Tennessee is a must. Getting it against the Rams will prove to be quite the challenge.
Los Angeles Rams
LOS ANGELES CHARGERS VS NEW YORK JETS:
Los Angeles has to win today and hope a few teams lose to keep their spot. The Jets will have QB Bryce Petty under center for the second week in a row. This is a good sign for the Chargers. The playoff hunt is real.
Los Angeles Chargers
JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS VS SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS:
No doubt that the 49ers are doing well with QB Jimmy Garoppolo. The Jaguars will have something to say about that though. There is no way they take their foot of the pedal. The Jags are on a mission. The Niners will get close though.
SEATTLE SEAHAWKS VS DALLAS COWBOYS:
QB Russell Wilson cannot do it all. It is apparent that shouldering the workload is taking a toll on him. Not sure he can keep it up for the rest of the season. The Cowboys will have RB Ezekiel Elliott back from serving a six game suspension. Great game to work him back in on. This win could help boost the winner into post season play.
NEW YORK GIANTS VS ARIZONA CARDINALS:
A weak Giants defense will allow the Cardinals to do what they like against them. New York seems to want to get the season over to start over. Even with QB Eli Manning slinging the ball, do not get your hopes up.
Every game counts! Let's see who will get in and who will play spoiler. This is just how I see it folks. Hopefully, there will be some great football played and a clearer picture of the post season. What will Santa Claus bring your team? Happy Christmas Eve!! Good luck to your teams and picks!
