How did those Sunday games turn out for you?  I think I only got three picks wrong. Well, that is so far until we see what happens on Monday Night Football.  We have the highest paid quarterback in the league playing on the road against a quarterback that struggled last week to make anything happen.  This is what I see and think will go down.

Under the bright lights of prime time Monday Night Football, the Detroit Lions are 2-0 against the New York Giants.  Last week's performance by Lions quarterback, Matthew Stafford, was nothing short of what should be expected from a player that signed the most lucrative contract in the NFL.  Will there be a repeat performance?  Stafford's main target last week, wide receiver Golden Tate, will have a strong matchup against the Giants cornerback, Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie.  With the Giants looking for a win after a pathetic outing against the Dallas Cowboys, they will definitely look to step up their defensive play against the Lions.  If that occurs, look for Stafford to be very uncomfortable back there in the pocket.  In which case, maybe the Lions can get their running game started with Ameer Abdullah playing better.

On the other hand, Giants quarterback, Eli Manning, feels that last week was just week 1 and will not reflect the rest of the season.  Manning will possibly not have one of his favorite targets again this week, wide receiver Odell Beckham, Jr.  Of course, maybe ODJ's counterpart, Brandon Marshall, could make it happen in his absence.  Either way, the Giants need to put together a package worthy of Giants football.  The Giants have won the last four out of five meetings against the Lions, so this may be a little hard to pick.  Give the home team the edge.  Both teams leave tonight 1-1.

Let's see how it all turns out tonight.  I look forward to reading your thoughts on tonight's game.  Good luck to your team and picks!
