This weekend is wild card weekend! Every playoff team is trying to make it to the next week. After an interesting last week of the regular season, the post season has officially started! At this point it does not matter how you got here, it is what you do from here. Let's get into the weekend's matchups.
TENNESSEE TITANS VS KANSAS CITY CHIEFS:
Tennessee tends to make things difficult for themselves. The fact that they beat the Jacksonville Jaguars last week does not really mean much. There were so many missed opportunities to take advantage of in that game. They should have had more points on the board than what they had. Against the Kansas City Chiefs, the Titans are going to have to bring much more than what they had against the Jags. The less than stellar defense the Titans have will not be a match for the offense that seems to have made a comeback for the Chiefs. There is no more proof than the change in the play calling, now done by Matt Nagy. Everyone from QB Alex Smith to RB Kareem Hunt to the defense has been playing well the last few weeks. This does not bode well for Titans QB Marcus Mariota and company. Tennessee will play up for a little while, but fully expect the Chiefs play up for the entire game. Winner gets Pittsburgh.

ATLANTA FALCONS VS LOS ANGELES RAMS:
Oh boy! If there ever was a game that could be called a shoot out this is it! Both of these offenses can score almost a will. The difference is that the Rams do it consistently. The Falcons not so much. The Rams have one of the top MVP candidates in Todd Gurley running the ball for them. They also have QB Jared Goff who has made a complete turn around under rookie head coach Sean McVey. There is only upside for the Rams at this point. Although Atlanta has been looking better the last couple of weeks, their up and down season has folks questioning which Falcon team will show up. The redemption factor is in play for them. QB Matt Ryan and teammates want another chance at the Lombardi and this is the starting point. If they can play like they have been the past couple of weeks their chances are great. This will be close. Defense will play a big factor. This gives the edge to the Rams. Hold on to your hats! Winner gets Philadelphia.
