I always start with how I made out last week. 11-3. Not bad. This is the halfway mark of the season. Some separation of those teams destined to make a run for the post-season should start to emerge. Tonight may be the start of that separation. Miami may be the team we knew they would be this year after a great start. Houston is looking like the team it should be this year after a rocky start. Both teams are 4-3. Let’s see who I have coming out 5-3.
MIAMI DOLPHINS vs HOUSTON TEXANS:
Last week’s loss to Detroit was abysmal. Miami’s defense was nearly non-existent. Outside of some flashes on offense. The ‘Phins did not look like the team that started the season. Ryan Tannehill is average at best. No knows what to expect from Miami week to week. Houston, on the other hand, has found its rhythm with returning players now coming into their own. Deshaun Watson and DeAndre Hopkins are making the offense happen. J. J. Wyatt is assisting with keeping the defense on task. Houston has won four straight games. They show no signs of slowing down. Barring any injuries, Houston will make a strong show of force come playoff time. There is no way that Miami will be able to keep up with them.
Remember, this is only my opinion of what I think will happen. I hope that the game is interesting though. That is how I am calling it. Good luck to your teams and picks.
