There are three games on for your viewing delight. While you are having turkey and stuffing, three division matchups will be going on. Depending on the outcome of each one, it might determine if you have an upset stomach or not. LOL! Grab that turkey leg and look at who I picked!
*For he record, I went 8-5 last week. GRR!!
CHICAGO BEARS vs DETROIT LIONS:
Last week, the Detroit Lions outlasted the Carolina Panthers. That is the Detroit team that always seems to make an appearance when their opponent allows them to stay in the game. There is no way that the Chicago Bears will allow that today. The Bears are showing the league that they deserve a seat at the table. Chicago’s defense alone will make it a challenge for Mathew Stafford and the Lions offensive line. This game will easy folks into Thanksgiving dinner. It will not be anything too extraordinary or anything too bland. Predictable is what it will probably be.
WASHINGTON REDSKINS vs DALLAS COWBOYS:
How can the Washington Redskins recover after the devastating loss of Alex Smith? Colt McCoy is certainly going to try. He has had success against the Cowboys. Of course, that does not mean that Redskins are shoe ins. The primary objective is to contain Ezekiel Elliott. The Redskins defense is capable. Even if the Cowboys decide to go to Amari Cooper, they should have that covered with D.J. Swearinger and Ha Ha Clinton-Dix. The question is: will everyone step up? Dallas has the momentum with them. A lot is at stake in the division with this game. Both want to be on top of the division. Both want to be in the playoff talks. It will be a battle for sure. Fans will want to make sure they do not eat too much before watching this one.
ATLANTA FALCONS vs NEW ORLEANS SAINTS:
Let’s hope that the Atlanta Falcons make it interesting at least. No one can argue that the New Orleans Saints are hot right now. Atlanta is hardly a worthy opponent, but it is a divisional game. The Falcons have been in games at times. They even look convincing like their win over the Washington Redskins. Matt Ryan may keep up for a bit, but not for long. Atlanta’s defense will have the challenge of trying to contain the likes of Alvin Kamara and Michael Thomas. This game tonight will settle the Saints fans’ stomachs after dinner.
Hopefully, your team does you proud on this grand belly filling day. Let's hope you kept your dinner down. Good luck to your teams and picks!
