That Bears/Dolphins overtime game, that Bucs/Falcons game, and let’s not forget the Sunday night showdown between the Chiefs and Patriots! There was some pretty good football on yesterday. We are closing out the week with a game between the 49ers and Packers that may not bring the same intensity as the Sunday games. See how I am calling it.
SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS vs GREEN BAY PACKERS:
So..this could be a great game to get the Packers receiving core in sync. Aaron Rodgers cannot carry the team the rest of the season on less than 100%. For tonight’s game there should not be any issues. Going up against a C. J. Beathard led San Fran team without Matt Breida could prove a great moral lift for the Pack. Green Bay has been pretty good at Lambeau, so they will have the advantage there. San Fran really lost a lot with the injury to Jimmy Garoppolo. This was his starting season and a chance for the 49ers to be real contenders. Do not expect there to be anything spectacular happening in this game. Definite home field advantage.
