WEEK 15 MNF: NEW ORLEANS SAINTS vs CAROLINA PANTHERS

Here we are at the Carolina game. Rest assured there are no playoff implications here for the Panthers except trying to sabotage New Orleans chances at a first round bye. Carolina has a great home record, but at this point, it does not mean a thing. Here is what I think about the game under the lights tonight.

NEW ORLEANS SAINTS vs CAROLINA PANTHERS:

As mentioned above, New Orleans is trying to get that first round bye by securing a win here in Carolina. Carolina, on the other hand, is crumbling before everyone. Drew Brees and company will not find it hard to take advantage of Cam Newton’s mistakes. This is not to say that the Panthers will not be in the game. They just will not be able to finish the Saints off like the Tampa Bay Buccaneers failed to do last week. The Saints have had their struggles the past couple of weeks, but will surely use a win over Carolina to boost morale. Carolina is far removed from the team that went to the Super Bowl in 2015. The Panthers could play spoiler here, but will not.

New Orleans Saints

That is how I am finishing out the week. Certainly there was an exciting game or two this weekend, especially that Saturday Cleveland Browns/Denver Broncos game. Let me know what you think. Good luck to your teams and picks!

WEEK 13 TNF: NEW ORLEANS SAINTS vs DALLAS COWBOYS

Again last week with a few of those games!! Carolina again……REALLY? I believe that some of these teams are trying to play “spoiler” early. LOL. I went 10-5, so I am on track a little. The race is definitely on for the post-season. A win here on Thursday night for the Dallas Cowboys could keep their playoff hopes alive. Could they pull out a victory over a team that is simply on fire? Let me see if I can put it into perspective.

NEW ORLEANS SAINTS vs DALLAS COWBOYS:

What can be said that has not already been said about Drew Brees and the outstanding cast of players he has around him? Brees is on track for the MVP award. Alvin Kamara, Michael Thomas, and Mark Ingram, Jr. are a major part of him being in the running for that award. Dallas will try to counteract that with Amari Cooper and Ezekiel Elliott. Jason Garrett seems to have found how to use Cooper more effectively in the offense. Garrett has also learned his lesson and has started to “feed” Zeke. Not sure if Marshon Lattimore will be covering Cooper, but that will be an exciting match up inside the game. It will be the Saints defense that the Cowboys will have to contend with. Even if they can find a way to compete, Dak Prescott will not be able to keep up with the gunslinger, Brees. Dallas will not make it easy for New Orleans, but in the end an upset is not going to happen.

New Orleans Saints

I do not doubt that this will be a fairly exciting game. Dallas is battling for respect in the NFC East, but New Orleans is battling for football world dominance. How do you see the end result? Let me know. Good luck to your teams and picks!
